MAJORETTE troupes from Honiton and Seaton will feature at the Guildhall

Shopping Centre Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 22.

The theme in this year is 'Christmas Elves' and the nominated charity is the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

Small floats from the East Devon carnival circuit will take part in the Exeter event, which starts at noon in Bailey Street - passing through the High Street to the Guildhall Shopping Centre.

Fundraising manager for ELF Mark Whittle said: "We are delighted to have this superb opportunity to work with the shopping centre on its annual parade. We have already spoken to several schools and a number have agreed to take part.

"We are sure the event will be great fun for the whole family, and a great way to raise awareness and funds for ELF."

The parade will include Santa in his sleigh, entertainers, and a vintage fire engine.
