Man bitten by dog

Police launch an appeal for information following the incident in Honiton.

Police are appealing for information after a man was bitten on the finger by a dog in Honiton.

The incident occurred between 4.10pm and 4.20pm on Sunday, November 17, in Dowell Street, outside the fire station.

The dog is described as a brown and white boxer type dog and was being walked by a teenage girl with dark shoulder length hair, wearing dark clothing.

Officers are asking anybody with information about this incident or for the teenage girl herself to contact police in Honiton on 101, quoting KH/13/920.
