Police trace the culprit after viewing CCTV images of his car
A motorist who stole a 4ft high model dinosaur from a garage forecourt at Seaton has returned it after the incident was captured on camera.
Tower Services owner Rob Gibbons said the man from Axminster brought it back when police traced his address through his number plate.
He returned the fibreglass model and apologised for his behaviour.
Mr Gibbons, who supports many charities at his garage, said people stealing from him made him really cross.

He said: “I have 14 high definition cameras on the site so if anyone attempts to steal from Tower Services we will track them down.”
The latest theft was captured on CCTV and the image published on social media.

Mr Gibbons added: “I told the man who took the model he is now banned from The Tower.
“It was the last of three dinosaurs we had. I am going to get some more but this time I will concrete them into the ground.”
