20-year-old to appear in court.

A 20-year-old man from Honiton has been charged with driving with excess alcohol following a collision in High Street on Saturday night.

Devon and Cornwall Police say the crash occurred at around 12.30am.

Police received reports that the road was blocked following a collision between a Black Vauxhall Corsa and a parked car.

A spokesman said: “The driver of the car ran off but was shortly after located by police and was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol.

“There was no one in the parked car – a blue Vauxhall Corsa.”

The accused is due to appear in court in Exeter later this month.
