Man freed from upturned car

Seaton and Colyton firefighters called to single vehicle crash
Firefighters were called to free a man from an upturned car near Seaton yesterday (Sunday).
The accident happened on the A3052, just outside the town, at around 5am.
Police called the fire and rescue service and crews from Seaton and Colyton attended the single vehicle accident.
They found one person was still inside the overturned car.

The man was released using hydraulic cutting equipment and shoring equipment. The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Fire crews made the vehicle safe before leaving the scene.
