Man injured following collision between car and van in Payhembury

Police were notified of the incident, which involved a grey Saab Aero and a white Citroen Berlingo van, at 7.15am this morning (Thursday).

A man was injured in a collision between a car and van near Payhembury this morning (Thursday).

Police were notified of the incident, which involved a grey Saab Aero and a white Citroen Berlingo van, at 7.15am..

The collision happened on the A373 near the village.

A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Service said that a crew was sent to the scene following the incident.

A man in his forties was treated by paramedics for a minor head injury, but nobody was taken to hospital.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said that both vehicles needed to recovered.
