FIREFIGHTERS rescued an elderly man from a smoke-logged bungalow following a small kitchen fire.
Crews from Seaton and Colyton were called out to Scalwell Park at 12.30pm on Wednesday, September 1, with Watch Commander Robin Hammett in charge.
The fire is reported yo have involved a cooker and two breathing apparatus and a hose reel were used. A positive ventilation fan was also used.
