Man rescued from garage roof in Axminster

The incident occurred around 1.53pm on Saturday (January 10)

Firefighters from Axminster were called after a man found himself stuck on a roof over the weekend.

The 61-year-old was trapped on the garage roof in Brunenburg Way in Axminster last Saturday (January 10).

Upon arrival at roughly 1.53pm, firefighters used a 135 metre ladder and a troll stretcher to rescue him.

After being brought down, the man was passed into the hands of the West Country Ambulance.
