Medal winning equestrian talks to Fairwater Head Hotel’s monthly lunch club
Olympic medal winning equestrian Mary King was the November speaker at the Fairwater Head Hotel’s monthly lunch club meeting.
Some 60 members and guests travelled to the Hawkchurch venue to hear her talk about her career and plans for the Rio Olympics in 2016.
She also signed copies of her book and used the event to raise funds for the charity of her choice - the Devon Air Ambulance.
Adam Southwell of the Fairwater Head Hotel presented Mary with a cheque for £112.50 for the flying medics.
