Axminster St Mary’s RC Primary School children gain certificates after completing challenge
Pupils at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Axminster have been taking part in the primary maths challenge, a national competition which is designed to make youngsters think ‘outside the box’.
The 25 questions asked - some relatively easy, others harder - were not necessarily subjects that had been covered in the school’s curriculum so far and they really made the children think. All the pupils received a certificate for taking part, some achieving a gold award for top marks.
