May Lavender celebrates her 90th birthday behind the counters in Kilmington.
A pensioner has celebrated her 90th birthday serving behind the counters at Hurfords Stores in Kilmington.
May Lavender, the daughter of the late Harry and May Hurford, has been serving the village’s residents for 76 years after leaving Kilmington Primary School at the age of 14.
Her family also held a special party to celebrate the occasion.
