Handbag stolen from Hospiscare store as staff go to the aid of injured customer
A THIEF struck when Axminster charity shop workers went to the aid of a customer who had fallen over.
It is thought they took advantage of the emergency to steal a staff member’s handbag from underneath the counter of the Hospiscare shop, in South Street
The incident happened between 8.50am and 10am on Saturday (September 24) and police would like to hear from anyone who can help them catch the culprit. Call them on their new non-emergency number – 101, quoting reference K11 416.
