TWO men were rescued by the Lyme Regis RNLI after their fishing boat sank a mile off Freshwater.

The men, who had been in the water for 10 minutes, were taken to West Bay Harbour at around 8am on Saturday, May 2.

The 30ft fishing boat, which had filled with water, sank only seconds before the lifeboat arrived on the scene.
