'Missing boat' sails into view, Stockland

A BOAT has been reported stolen in Stockland – over two years since it went missing.

A BOAT has been reported stolen in Stockland - over two years since it went missing.

Police said the Fletcher Bravo power boat was taken between March 1 and 31, 2007, but the owner has only recently reported it he believes he has seen it in the area.

The red and white boat, called 'Eternal Flame' had been stolen along with a mercury engine, trailer and other boating equipment.

Sergeant Pete Trudgeon said: "This is unusual but the man in the circumstances believes he's seen the boat and it will be treated like all other crimes reported to the police."
