Axe Valley Wildife Park’s pet cat Tegan has forged an unusual friendship with one of the residents
An unusual friendship is blossoming at the Axe Valley Wildlife Park in Axminster.
Tegan the cat has palled up with Rascal, a Meerkat, and the two like nothing better than to take a snooze together amongst the Christmas decorations.
The park’s education officer Marie Pulman said it was an “unusual friendship but a wonderful one”.
Meanwhile some of the other animals from the wildlife park were recently introduced to youngsters at St Michael’s Primary School in Lyme Regis.
Marie and volunteer Kerry Layton-Hill had great fun entertaining the children in Natalie Townley’s class who were fascinated to meet Archie, the armadillo, and thrilled to touch kelloggs, the corn snake.
