Town celebrates its Jurassic heritage with a day of digging and dinosaurs
Families enjoyed a programme of monster fun when Seaton put on a special day to celebrate its Jurassic heritage
Organised for the town council by its vice chairman Sharon Bruce, the action took place in Windsor Gardens.
A host of activities included a dinosaur trail with the Jurassic Coast team and Beer Youth Hostel Association, a fossil dig, kite-making, Jurassic Coast arts and crafts creating dinosaurs and ammonites and story telling featuring the wonderful world of “Ivor the Ichthyosaur”.
There was also a bouncy castle and some Jurassic balloon creations by Professor Balloonin Bonkers.
