THE beautiful flora and fauna of the Glen in Honiton will have a new burst of life as a second grant has been awarded to its regeneration project. The Conservation Foundation, supported by O2, has agreed to give a further grant of 500, which follows on from a Breathing Spaces lottery grant.Since the cash injection, the Glen has been transformed from a tangled growth into a flower paradise and the second grant will ensure the area blossoms even more.Councillor Alfred Boom, organiser of the Regeneration Project for Honiton Town Council, said: "The money will support the initiative of Honiton Community College students who are working on a special project at the Glen as part of their community studies curriculum. So when purchasing say, plants or materials for the Glen, they will be using their maths for keeping the accounts.
