Young people from Mill Water School make their own mosaics - just like artist Cleo Mussi.

An exhibition by world renowned mosaic artist Cleo Mussi has been giving children some creative food for thought in Honiton.

They have been taking part in artist-led mosaic workshops at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery, where Cleo’s exhibition, Pharma’s Market, runs until November 12.

Around 1,000 people have visited the exhibition, which has an agricultural theme. The gallery’s curator, Angela Blackwell, says interest in the exhibition has been “amazing”.

Young people from Mill Water School were guests at the gallery today (Thursday), when artist Darrell Wakelam inspired them to make their own mosaics featuring farmyard animals.

Funding for workshops with primary school children from schools in and around Honiton was provided through a Making it Local grant.
