A MOTHER and child in a car became trapped in water in Cownhayne Lane, Colyford.
Firefighters from Colyton and Seaton were called out yesterday (Wednesday, August 5) at 9.20am.
Four firefighters in dry suits waded through the 4 ft deep water to rescue the pair.
