MP Neil Parish is supporting the Food Standards' Agency push to reduce food poisoning.
Outdoor eating contributes to an extra 120,000 food poisoning cases over summer barbeque season. Mr Parish attended the agency's event in Parliament to see how it was tackling the issue.
The Agency advises simple steps to reduce the risk of food poisoning, such as making sure meat is cooked until steaming hot - with none of the meat pink, and any juices must run clear.
