Fears Welfare Reform Bill will leave sufferers even worse off.

Macmillan Cancer Support is calling on MPs to protect people with cancer from poverty.

The charity fears proposed changes to the benefits system could leave cancer patients even worse off.

With the Welfare Reform Bill working its way through Parliament, Macmillan is urging local MPs to speak up for people with cancer - to ensure they are not penalised.

Around 90 per cent cancer sufferers suffer loss of income/and or increased costs as a direct result of their cancer.
