Museum to support mammoth coast walk

DINOSAURLAND Fossil Museum will be donating all entrance fees to charity on August 8, in memory of a geologist who died suddenly last year.In tribute to Sam Sherwin, who had just completed his first year studying geology at Birmingham University and died inexplicably in 2007, a group of his friends are trying to raise £10,000 for NSPCC - a charity he was supporting.The friends will be walking the South West Coast Path and are expected to cover 633 miles, climb 27,000 metres, before arriving in Poole on Friday, August 15.Travelling from Beer to Charmouth on August 8, the museum is supporting them in their undertaking.Entrance fees are £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for children (aged five to 16).If you cannot visit on the day but wish to make a donation on-line, follow the links to Sam on the Dinosaurland website.
