MUSIC was a feature of a British Heart Foundation fund-raising drive at Tesco in Honiton.
Andrew Mycroft, of the Amycrofters, played folk music as volunteers accepted donations, raising over 1,000 in two days.
John Lawrance, treasurer of the charity's Honiton branch, said: "We'd like to thank everyone who gave so generously last week. We raised over 1,000 over the two days, which is an extremely impressive amount. We would also like to thank Andrew for playing so wonderfully for us and the shoppers. It certainly kept the volunteers' feet warm as we tapped to the beat.
