A COLYFORD based musical summer workshop has been rated a success by organisers.

Over 20 budding singers and dancers attended Musical Minds Summer Singing Workshop at the Memorial Hall.

The youngsters, aged from seven to 17, danced their way through hits by Beyonce, Pussycat Dolls and Michael Jackson.

The event was run by local couple Nick and Sarah Ryan, both tutors and professional musicians for more than 15 years, and aided by choreographer Caroline Wilkie.

Sarah said: "The students were a joy to work with and couldn't have been more dedicated. I'm so proud of what they have achieved."

The Musical Minds team will be putting on more workshops later in the year. For more information about singing lessons, workshops and guitar tuition, contact Nick or Sarah on (01297) 23018.
