Young violinist suffers a collapsed lung.
Young violinist Emmanuel Bach has been forced to pull out of the forthcoming Joanna Leach Memorial Recital in Honiton due to a collapsed lung.
The concert’s organisers have confirmed that he will not be playing at Saturday’s event, at St Paul’s Church, and pianist Alexander Schmalcz will be performing in his place.
They hope Emmanuel will be able to perform at their next recital, on September 29, when Andreas Boyde will be performing works by Mussorsky and Ravel.
Tickets are available from Honiton Tourist Information Centre.
