Villagers of all ages enjoyed a colourful performance when they watched Payhembury Pre-school’s nativity play.
The performance, called The Sleepy Shepherd, took place in the village hall and visitors enjoyed mulled wine and food from the parish hall committee’s tea and cakes morning.
Payhembury Pre-school’s Natalie Cafaro said: “It was a magical morning and the children definitely brought a smile to everyone’s faces with their singing and acting.
“They had practised so hard and it really showed. It was truly wonderful to be so well supported and everyone was left full of the festive spirit.”
