Two members of Axminster’s neighbourhood policing team were at Tesco on Thursday – offering shoppers a little help to combat crime.

PCSOs Sam Slater and Hayley Widger set up a stand in the store and handed out advice leaflets on a variety of home security issues. They were also there to answer any concerns people had.

Axminster currently has three policing priorities identified by local residents – alcohol related crime, antisocial behaviour and vehicles speeding in Lyme Road.
