Neighbouring houses burgled in Honiton

POLICE in Honiton are investigating after two homes were burgled on the same day.

POLICE in Honiton are investigating after two homes were burgled on the same day.The neighbouring properties, in Rosemount Lane, were entered between 10am and 6pm on Sunday, June 21. A police spokesman said: "In both cases the houses were entered by an insecure door. "Items stolen include two Nintendo DS Games consoles (one in pink inside a pink case) and various games without boxes, including Nintendogs - Labrador and Friends, The SIMS 2 - Apartment Pets and a Brain training game, the fourth game title was unknown. "Also stolen in one of the burglaries was a single key on a distinctive 'Dolmio' key fob. "This key fob is made from metal and has a picture of the man from the Dolmio advert on it, with the words 'WHAT IS YOUR DOLMIO DAY?'" Police are urging anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or anyone who has any information regarding the stolen items, to contact them on 08452 777444, quoting either reference KH/09/555 or KH/09/566.
