New club thrives

AXMINSTER Minabb Club has thanked people for donations towards costs of its facilities.

AXMINSTER Minabb Club has thanked people for donations towards costs of its facilities.The club, which started last October, caters for the poor-sighted and anybody looking for a social outlet. Shirley Gudge of Minabb Club said: "Thank you for donations received from Axminster Care Service and Councillor Douglas Hull, which has helped towards costs of games, etc."The club is also looking for a volunteer car driver to bring people to the club. The club meets every other Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm at Millwey Rise. For further information contact Mrs Gudge on (01297) 35395.
