Two years of hard work come to fruition for the pre-school.

The children and staff of Uplyme Pre-School were all smiles as they unveiled its new dedicated children’s toilets and toy store cupboard in Uplyme Village Hall.

The extension project has taken two years to come to fruition thanks to the hard work of the pre-school committee and staff as well as the support of the local community and various groups and organisations that provided funding.

A spokeswoman for the pre-school said: “We hope that these new facilities will not only improve the environment for the children at the Pre-school but also for the other children that use the village hall like Mrs Ethelstons Primary School children, the Brownies, Dancing club and children’s birthday parties.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the extension project in whichever way they have, whether it was organising the fund-raising or supporting the events.”

The new toilet facilities have been custom made to be the correct height and size for the children.
