Loganair is now offering flights between Exeter and Norwich in a move that it is hoped will improve business between the two cities.

Services between Exeter and Edinburgh will also recommence after they were shut down near the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic last year.

The new Norwich route will operate up to four times weekly, flying Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays.

Along with Edinburgh and Norwich, Loganair has stepped in to revive two other services from Exeter - Newcastle and Glasgow - which were lost through the collapse of Flybe in March 2020.

Kay Ryan, Loganair’s chief commercial officer, said: “We are thrilled to be launching our new Norwich-Exeter route and recommencing flights to Edinburgh.

“The services will provide essential connectivity for businesses as the economy begins to recover and allow loved ones from across the UK to finally reconnect.

“We are committed to restoring domestic services and playing our key role as the UK’s largest regional airline, at a time when UK connectivity has never been more important.”
