New help for East Devon businesses

THE Government has just introduced a new scheme to help businesses pay the 2009/10 increase in business rates by deferring an element of the increase into the 2010/11 and 2011/12 financial years.

THE Government has just introduced a new scheme to help businesses pay the 2009/10 increase in business rates by deferring an element of the increase into the 2010/11 and 2011/12 financial years.

EDDC will soon be sending information about the scheme to businesses in East Devon, along with an application form.

To defer part of the increase, you will need to complete the application form and return it to: NNDR Deferral Application, East Devon District Council at Knowle, Sidmouth, EX10 8HL.
