New landlords at Famous George pub

THE FAMOUS George Inn has been under new ownership for two months and the landlords say they are settling into Seaton.

THE FAMOUS George Inn has been under new ownership for two months - and the landlords say they are settling into Seaton.Partners Eric Boot and Lisa Forbes (pictured above) moved from Torquay where they ran their own businesses, but this is the first time they are working together.Eric said: "Seaton is a great, friendly town. We've had great support. A lot of people still don't know we are open, but a lot of locals are coming to look."Lisa added: "We've even had a lot of help from other landlords in pubs. And we've had compliments from some locals about how much the place has changed and been cleaned up. So far, it's going really well - we can't complain.
