Musbury Primary School pupils have taken part in a joint project to design and produce a noticeboard to go at the school entrance which has been made from hand-painted tiles to show their new logo in the centre surrounded by painted leaves and hand prints.

The children spent a day at the new woodland trail at Tracey Estate, Awliscombe, where they gathered leaves and took bark rubbings to provide their inspiration.

Some of the leaves and rubbings have also now been made into a framed picture which will be presented to Tracey Estate to show their appreciation for a lovely day spent there.

The project was completed with a grant and help from the Young Arts programme of Honiton Decorative and Fine Arts Society.
