CLAYBROOK Developments South West Ltd has announced the opening of Honiton Retail Park. Countrywide Farmers plc recently opened a flagship store on the site at Heathpark Industrial Estate, formerly the Royair factory building.

The site is prominently located at the entrance of the Heathpark Estate, just off the A30 on the western edge of Honiton. Opposite the site are other bulky goods retailers, namely Homebase, Argos and Carpetright.

Honiton Retail Park comprises an "as new" building of approximately 1,672 m2 (18,000 ft2) on a site of 1.3 acres, with generous loading and parking areas. Countrywide will occupy Unit 2 which accounts for just over half the building area, leaving about 747 m2 (8,040 ft2) available to let. The latter is available as one, or can be divided into two units of c 371.6 m2 (4,000 ft2).

The available space benefits from a recently obtained consent which allows the sale of furniture and carpets, DIY products, cycle products and vehicle accessories, garden and home wares, electrical goods and pet foods and products. Unit 1 is available immediately as a fully serviced developer's shell on flexible letting terms.
