New roof for The Bungalow

A WORTHY application" - that's how Councillor Ron Farnham, who chaired a Honiton Town Council planning committee meeting last week, described an application for the re-roofing of The Bungalow.

A WORTHY application" - that's how Councillor Ron Farnham, who chaired a Honiton Town Council planning committee meeting last week, described an application for the re-roofing of The Bungalow.The specialist unit at Honiton Community Hospital needs a new roof, according to Community Estates Services.It has submitted a planning application for the work.Town clerk Lyn Hargood revealed the plan is to strip off man-made slate tiles and to replace them with concrete ones. The committee raised no objection.
