New Tesco store busy

TESCO'S new Express store in Lyme Regis was busy yesterday (Thursday) on its opening day.

TESCO'S new Express store in Lyme Regis was busy yesterday (Thursday) on its opening day.Store manager Martyn Stephens said: "Our first day was brilliant. The store was busy and I am very proud of my staff who worked hard to make the day a success."The Broad Street outlet, previously Woolworths, was opened by Councillor Sally Holman, Mayor of Lyme Regis.During the official opening ceremony, Mr Stephens presented the RNLI with a cheque for £500. He said: "I hope that the money goes a long way towards helping with training and equipment.
