Wouldn t it be nice if Exmouth had a proper seated theatre on the seafront, instead of a tired-looking hall with a stage. Perhaps then we could have a proper summer season show with some star names instead of a lot of endless tribute bands!

Friends who have visited us are always surprised, given the size and location of the town, how poor the theatre facilities are.
Still, I daresay, when people see the half-built bowling alley complex and wasteland that was The Strand this summer, they will not be surprised.
What is interesting is how so many officials pat themselves on the back over the years, believing they have done such a great job in making Exmouth look so wonderful!
