RESIDENTS are invited for a drink and chat at The Royal Lion Hotel, Lyme Regis, to move forward plans for a proposed literary festival in the town.Organisers Natalie Manifold and Marcus Dixon, who is chief executive of the Lyme Regis Development Trust are kick-starting their project by calling on people from all backgrounds to get involved. Natalie said: "The main aim of this is to celebrate and promote Lyme Regis' wealth of literary heritage. "In doing so, we aim to draw in many people from around the country - thereby benefiting the local economy. We would also like to involve Lyme's youth as much as possible."The event will take place on Monday, April 6 at 7.30pm.
