No increase in allowances for Honiton councillors

MEMBERS of Honiton Town Council have declined to give themselves a pay rise for the second year running.

MEMBERS of Honiton Town Council have declined to give themselves a pay rise for the second year running.

At a meeting last week, the council's policy committee recommended members' allowances remain at �283 per year - the rate first set in 2007.

Not all councillors claim the allowance.
