It's a vicious circle - complaints of rubbish everywhere, council man comes to clear it up. Dustbin day comes round again, complaints of rubbish everywhere. Council man comes to clear it up. In between, there are complaints of seagulls and rats. Nothing odd about that, if food is put out to feed them! Please, please can those residents of Seaton who take no action whatsoever to safeguard their rubbish from bird and vermin attack follow the example of those that do? For the want of a bit of old carpet, or something similar, placed over the plastic bags when they are put out for the refuse collection, the result will be a cleaner and safer town and we might just break the vicious circle. It would also be a great service to the town if those homes and businesses suffering from over-active seagull digestive activity could clean it off their private property where council employees dare not venture. A clean town is a happy town and we all have our part to play to make ours a happier town. Thank you.Philip HigginsonSeaton Town Clerk
