HONITON Surgery is to produce a detailed leaflet about the treatment of warts - now that it is no longer offering freezing treatments as routine.GPs at the surgery say warts are harmless and usually disappear on their own.Topical paints, lotions and tapes are as effective as freezing, which can be painful.Up to four freezing session have been required to clear a wart and GPs feel their time could be put to more appropriate use.
