Cyclists of all ages got into gear for the inaugural St Giles’ Church cycle ride in Northleigh, which is hoped will become an annual event.

The event raised well in excess of £500 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Bikes of all shapes and sizes were on show, including mountain bikes and a 1911 tricycle.

All the participants were sent off from the church with a prayer and a wave by Reverend Peter Walker.

Following the cycle ride everyone gathered together for a barbecue and refreshments in the village hall.
