Not sure what to do this Bonfire Night? Here is a list of what's going on in Exmouth, Sidbury, Honiton, Newton Poppleford, Ottery, Budleigh, Colyton, Dunkeswell, Axminster and Combe Raleigh.

Friday -

Newton Pop: The annual bonfire and fireworks night at Newton Poppleford will be held tonight (Friday) on the playing fields at Back Lane.

Gates open at 5.30pm and tickets can be bought from The Cannon Inn, in the High Street, or by calling Councillor Rosemary Walker on 01395 567108

There will be hot food stalls, a bar with mulled wine, tea, coffee and confectionery as well as music.

On site parking will be restricted to blue badge holders.

Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for children aged four to 15.

Combe Raleigh: The village’s annual free bonfire and fireworks night will be held this evening (Friday).

The Flaming Torch Parade will start from School House at 6pm and will be followed by the lighting of the bonfire around 6.30pm and the fireworks after that.

The evening, which is being held in the field at New House Farm, will also include the judging of a Guy Fawkes Competition, beef burgers, hot dogs and soft drinks.

Saturday -

Budleigh: A fireworks display and barbecue will be held for two worthwhile charities in Budleigh.

The event will be held at Pinewood Nursing Home, in Victoria Place, from 7pm tomorrow (Saturday).

The evening is being held by the town’s Lions Club and will be raising money for the club as well as Devon Freewheelers, so donations are encouraged.

Those wanting to attend have been reminded that sparklers are not allowed.

Honiton: A fireworks display will begin at 7pm tomorrow (Saturday) at Honiton Town Youth Football Club, on Ottery Moor Lane.

Entry is free but donations are appreciated. The club’s bar will be open and refreshments, snacks and sweets will be available.

Colyton: A Bonfire and fireworks display will be held at the Peace Memorial Playing Fields, in Colyton tomorrow (Saturday).

Gates will open at 6.30pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm, ready for the display at 8pm.

There will be a barbecue and refreshments at the event, which has been organised by Colyton Football Club.

Tickets are £5 for adults and children under 14 are free with an accompanied adult.

Dunkeswell: Fireworks will begin at 7pm tomorrow (Saturday) at the Dunkeswell Airfield near Honiton.

There will be a large bonfire, hot dogs, a barbecue and punch.

Donations to fund the event, organised by Dunkeswell Village Hall Management Committee, are much appreciated and will be asked for in exchange for entrance.

Sidbury: A special event to mark the 20th anniversary of Sidbury Fireworks will be held at Sidbury Manor tomorrow (Saturday).

The gates open at 5.30pm, ready for the bonfire to be lit an hour later and the fireworks display at 7.15pm.

There will also be fire performers, a pig roast, barbecue, a bar and live music from the Jonah Hitchens Band and Paranoid Chickens.

Every year, organisers build the bonfire around a theme and this year, with the Ashes tour coming up, the theme is cricket.

Everyone has been reminded to not bring sparklers and to wear sensible footwear.

Tickets are £6 for adults, £4 for children under 14 and toddlers are free.

Ottery: The famous Ottery Tar Barrels event will return tomorrow (Saturday) attracting thousands of spectators.

Barrellers young and old, male and female, will be racing up and down the streets while being watched by large crowds. The first barrel will be lit at 4.15pm followed by subsequent rolls until the last barrel at midnight. There will also be food stalls, a fair and a bonfire.

Roads will shut from 3.45pm and motorists are asked to park at the car parks on Barrack/ Exeter Road or at Ottery Football Club in Butts Road, which will open from 3pm. Parking is £10.

All visitors are reminded to wear sensible clothes and shoes and to not wear backpacks to avoid catching on anything while the barrels are moving.

Sunday -

Exmouth: A charity event, in aid of Exmouth RNLI, will be held from 6pm on Sunday at the Exmouth Rugby Club ground, on Imperial Road.

The fireworks, which have been organised by Exmouth and District 415 Round Table, will start at 7.30pm.

The event will be hosted by Radio Exe and food and drink will be available inside.

Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for children.

Axminster: There will be funfair rides, a barbeque, food stands and fireworks in Axminster on Sunday.

The event will be held at Cloakham Lawn and Sports Centre, in Chard Road and gates will open at 4.30pm, ready for the bonfire to be lit at 5.30pm and fireworks at 6pm.

The event will also include a Halloween Party and children’s fancy dress competition.

Tickets are £4 for adults, £2 for children and under 5s are free.
