I (25) and my partner (16) have been homeless since January, and we are staying around friends' and families' houses. I was disgusted to be told that I am non-priority and healthy enough to live in a tent. My partner, who is younger, was also told the same, as she is in my care.I asked for a review and was told it was doubtful that the decision would be changed. I was also told to look privately, but I'm only on Jobseekers' Allowance and cannot afford to pay the rent. I was then told that, because I don't have enough money coming in, I would not be able to apply for their Deposit Scheme. I think it is disgusting that a council can let two girls sleep on the streets. How many more people are in the same situation as us?C Pellc/o St Paul's Road Honiton
