Official maps 'out-of-date'

MAPS supplied for planning purposes by the Land Registry are so out-of-date they don't even show estates built in Honiton more than 20 years ago.

MAPS supplied for planning purposes by the Land Registry are so out-of-date they don't even show estates built in Honiton more than 20 years ago.Members of Honiton Town Council were shocked to learn last week that a 2007 Land Registry map for Honiton failed to show Glen View, which was built in the 1980s.Town and district councillor Vivienne Ash said the map was so out-of-date it was "woeful".Town clerk Lyn Hargood has been instructed to write to the Land Registry and complain.
