Pupils at Offwell Primary School put all their sporting excellence into practice in their combined ‘Off-lympics’ and traditional sports day.

The staff at the school have been working closely with a sports coach, Will Bardot, to develop the children’s core physical skills.

A spokeswoman for Offwell Primary School said: “Judging by the display of speed and dexterity, there are some future Olympians developing locally.

“All the children from nursery to year six took part in the event and races were run in good spirits with a healthy edge of competition between the two school houses, Drake and Raleigh.
