Youngsters at Offwell Primary School bravely took to the stage for two colourful shows at the end of their autumn term.

Pupils aged five to 11 from Willow, Beech and Oak classes took part in Hosanna Rock - a musical retelling of the Christmas story.

Anne Billington, headteacher at Offwell Primary, said: “The children sang beautifully and acted the parts with confidence and enthusiasm.

“The afternoon and evening performances were packed with lots of parents, relatives and friends who all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”

She also said that children from in the school’s reception and nursery unit performed a traditional Nativity - there was not a dry eye in the house.
