A TALATON woman hopes to have raised 2,500 for the Help for Heroes charity after taking part in a tandem skydive from 15,000 at Dunkeswell.
Catering worker Olivia Higginson, 26, says she overcame her fears "because Help for Heroes is doing amazing work with our wounded military personnel".
"I was very nervous," she told the Herald.
"It was a really scary experience, but amazing as well.
"I wasn't too keen to freefall at 120 miles per hour towards the ground but, once the parachute was deployed, it was fantastic."
Olivia is still collecting sponsorship. If you can help her reach her target, you can donate by visiting www.justgiving.com.flyolivia
