More than 70 people join ‘the search for Jesus’ through the village streets

More than 70 people took part in the Kilmington Easter Trail this year.

Although the temperature was low, the sun shone and people enthusiastically joined in “the search for Jesus”.

The trail led them through eight different scenes from the crowded streets of Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the empty tomb on Easter Day which were located around the playing fields.

At each scene participants were given items for them to collect and a puzzle to solve in order to claim a prize of a free Easter Egg at the end of the trail.

Parents were also grateful to warm themselves with hot drinks and refreshments afterwards.

This was the fourth year the event was run by Kilmington Baptist Church and one mum said it was “the best yet!”
